Gavin Rainbow
Gavin is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Actualise Group. He has been involved in organisational development consulting in Australia and internationally for over 20 years, working in the mining, energy, marine and construction industries.
He specialises in organisational change and development with a primary focus on the design and facilitation of strategic and business planning, management, leadership and team development, organisational needs analysis and the management of change.
Gavin has forged an enviable reputation as a highly gifted facilitator in leadership development and coaching with measurable results delivering safety performance improvement and business performance improvement working with major companies worldwide across leadership development, HSE strategic and business planning, team development, key performance indicators and performance management.
Gavin complements his skills in strategic planning with the ability to coach and assist managers in translating their plans into reality at the business level. He also provides critical support with change management, project management training and development solutions for people and operational success.
His work in the mining industry has included the development of satellite iron ore bodies, rail and port facilities, salt production, iron ore smelting and working underground in the mining of gold and diamonds.
His work in the energy industry has included leading teams on international assignments on a rotational basis located in regions such as West Africa, South America, Middle East, Europe, Canada and Asia.

About
Charlie Gilbertson
After completing his Masters of Science (MSc) and Master of Drilling Engineering through the University of Aberdeen, Charlie then commenced his career as things were just getting started in the oil industry in Scotland. Having segued from the Merchant Navy, to working as an engineer offshore in the North Sea in the 1980’s, he quickly saw firsthand that safety and operational procedures were in development.
Charlie has dedicated his career to excellence in project planning and delivery, including improving safety, standards, efficiency and in the process created world beating records in Deepwater drilling.
Throughout his working life, drilling in international waters, he has led multinational, multicultural teams of varying levels of experience, creating cohesive and productive teams, with stellar results.
It is this wide ranging, and unique expertise he brings to the Actualise Group, in addition to core values of inclusivity, unparalleled attention to detail and a deep respect for human life, marine life and the environment.
